South Africa's Toughest Hilux Driver
Born and raised in Cape Town with a passion for photography, the automotive industry and the outdoors. Started with photography at the young age of 7 years old with rally motorsport photography. The hobby of photography grew into a career of content creation with videography, editing and other skills attached. At age 16, Dieter was the youngest accredited Motorsport South Africa (MSA) photographer at the time. During high school, he was the main photographer at Paarl Gimnasium, covering various sporting events along with photography for the annual yearbook. His freelancing career kicked off directly after school generating content for sporting events, music festivals, brands in the automotive industry, reality TV shows, long-format documentaries, social media content and the list continues.
The Amazing Projects
His biggest projects include a full-length documentary about the Bidi Bidi refugee camp in Uganda, the main content creator and a journalist for Cars.co.za. Various TV adverts, movies and reality TV shows. Woking with local and international automotive brands such as Suzuki South Africa and Isuzu Australia. Motorsport content for Toyota Gazoo Racing, Yamaha RNF (MotoGP), etc. He also specializes in social media content for various brands within the automotive and outdoor lifestyle while having a large social following himself. In 2017 he started Jaunt Tours to fuel his passion for the outdoors and share this passion with like-minded outdoor enthusiasts. He now hosts multiple outdoor events and tours regularly. These events range from one-day events to multi-day trips.
